Finding the Divine in the Details

With Thine Own Eyes

I’m not going to physically live forever. This body will return to the earth.

But I might begin living in an eternal kind of way as I invite and apply what will last – those gifts that wait within, like gems in a mine.

Only my spiritual nature is capable of looking — seeing — beyond outward appearances to perceive and witness all of those gems latent within others, and my self. To perceive that honor and nobility in every human being, and know it as the most inviting and beautiful goal of each day.

“Happy are those who spend their days in gaining knowledge, in discovering the secrets of nature, and in penetrating the subtleties of pure truth,” ‘Abdu’l-Bahá has reminded in a book called Some Answered Questions.

Happy indeed.
