Leaf of the Tree

Finding the Divine in the Details

‘neath the shadow of justice and truthfulness

Israel 139

Sending love and prayerful blessings to all

on this anniversary of the Birth of Baha’u’llah.

“The incomparable Friend saith:

The path to freedom hath been outstretched; hasten ye thereunto. Israel 150

The wellspring of wisdom is overflowing; quaff ye therefrom.

Say: O well-beloved ones! The tabernacle of unity hath been raised;

regard ye not one another as strangers.

Ye are the fruits of one tree, and the leaves of one branch.

Storm 230Verily I say, whatsoever leadeth to the decline of ignorance

and the increase of knowledge hath been, and will ever remain,

approved in the sight of the Lord of creation.

Say: O people! Walk ye neath the shadow of justice and truthfulness

and seek ye shelter within the tabernacle of unity.”

  1. Phyllis, I am always richly blessed by your messages.
    Thank you.

  2. Happy birthday to Baha’u’llah, and my warmest greeting to you and all your fellow Baha’is who have found shelter in the tabernacle of unity that is his teaching. Your prophet wrote that whoever helps ignorance decline and knowledge increase is doing the will of God. Has there ever been a more concise expression of the universal goal of all religions? I am always uplifted when I encounter the use of religion to unify rather than divide. Any person who is one in heart with God, is one in heart with every other person who is one in heart with God. Again, happy birthday to all of you on this special observance. Count me as your kindred spirit.

  3. Your photos gave me chicken skin because I could smell the fragrance of the Shrines from our Pilgrimage to Haifa. Our Honolulu community will be celebrating Baha’u’llah’s birthday at 3:30 p.m. at the Moanalua Gardens. Wish you were here.
